Inspired by the uncluttered aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Passerelle Desk – an updated interpretation sharing the same simplicity and quality in a more contemporary context. With a well-balanced, flat-packed construction, the tabletop features solid wooden edges and top surface in veneer or linoleum, with the core made of Lisocore® – an advanced, high-quality material that offers great strength yet is extremely light and easy to move around. The table frame is equally robust and functional, with the solid wooden legs and aluminium and steel crossbar positioned just off centre for extra chair space and mobility. The Passerelle Desk’s variety of material and colour options amplify its multifunctional quality, making it suitable for using as a desk in a home office, or a workspace in a corporate environment.
