Shells feature seven-ply veneers and cushions are individually upholstered and replaceable. The back braces and bases of both the chair and ottoman are die-cast aluminum. It features shock mounts and a tilted seat that takes the weight off the lower spine when sitting. The angle supports the chest as one lounges, and the built-in swivel mechanism further enhances relaxation.
