Dan Grabowski
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dan Grabowski grew up fascinated by cars, and attended the preeminent school for automotive design in the United States, The College for Creative Studies. While studying the work of Harry Bertoia as a college student, he was inspired to design things that were as beautiful as they were functional, honing his meticulous attention to the smallest detail. Early in his career he designed consumer goods ranging from power tools to infant care products, but when he began designing furniture, he found his calling. Grabowski is especially passionate about case goods, as evidenced by the elegant aesthetics of Cove Collection by Knoll.
