Muuto’s Rime Chandelier presents a new take on the beloved Rime lamp by Stockholm-based TAF Studio – this time as a charming chandelier. The acorn-shaped glass shades are sandblasted for a refined, understated finish and attached to a circular track made from powder-coated aluminum, which is suspended from the ceiling with slender steel wires. The delicate wires create a playful illusion of the lamp floating in mid-air, giving the pendant a light and airy presence. The Rime Chandelier works beautifully above a living room seating area, over a dining table in the kitchen, or even as a statement piece in the bedroom.

Design Story
Rime Chandelier reimagines the classic glass pendant as a striking light sculpture. Featuring five mouth-blown, sandblasted glass shades, it casts a soft, refined glow while its square-profile aluminum suspension adds sharp, architectural contrast. Designed for high ceilings, it makes a bold statement above round tables and dining areas. Visible screws and industrial finishes—White, Black, or Aluminium Grey—highlight its modern character. Each shade includes a high-quality G9 bulb with a color rendering index above 90 for warm, consistent illumination. Glass shades, suspension, and cables can all be replaced for lasting durability. The diameter of the shade is 18 cm / 7.09″.
