Bonbon
Summary
Inspired by her drawings, Ana Kraš’ woven Bonbon Shades are produced using an original technique to create textured, one-of-a-kind pieces. Every shade is hand woven with nylon-wool yarn around a powder-coated steel frame, resulting in individual lampshades that vary slightly in their appearance and surface aesthetic. Bonbon is available in several designs and sizes – as both table/floor lamps or pendants – depending on the chosen cord set, but it stands on its own as a powerful decorative object even when the bulb is not switched on. Both cord sets can be used with all the different lampshade sizes and are not supplied with a bulb.

Serbian Ana Kraš studied furniture design and interior architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade. She currently divides her time between Paris and New York, working with object design, art, photography, and fashion. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions around the world and featured in many international publications. For HAY, Ana has designed the Bonbon Shade, the Ram Series and the Ava Lamp Collection.
