Designed for HAY by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker, the Chisel Collection is a timeless assortment of wooden chairs, stools, and tables with a distinctly contemporary expression. Born from an appreciation for wood and its inherent properties, the collection was developed with careful attention to detail and comfort. Defined by generous proportions, the design is shaped through careful craftsmanship and ergonomic consideration, balancing a strong character with a compact footprint. Named after the traditional carpentry tool, subtle chisel-inspired details are echoed throughout – seen in the angled, bevelled legs that give each piece a sculptural silhouette and a strong, consistent structural identity across typologies.
