Product Story

Designed for HAY by Dutch designer Stefan Scholten, Facet Cabinet is a versatile, multifunctional storage solution that is easy to move around. Inspiration for Facet came to the designer whilst he was working in his studio and needed a mobile furniture item that could store and organise things. Made in post-consumer recycled ABS, the cabinet features a sleek, faceted design with a revolving integrated door, and can be supplemented with wheels that amplify its functionality. A visually appealing, all-purpose cabinet, Facet’s function connects to the space the user places it in and can be adapted accordingly.

Stefan Scholten

Dutch designer Stefan Scholten graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1995 before setting up his own design office in Amsterdam in 2019. Known for his reductionist style and unique use of colour, Scholten uses the ‘atelier’ method of working, combining functionality with an expressive, original design on diverse projects worldwide. For HAY, Stefan has designed the Facet Cabinet.
